There are some adjectives that refer to nationalities and places of origin which end in -e.
These adjectives are always invariable in masculine and feminine singular.

La herencia árabe es muy rica en España.The Arab heritage is very rich in Spain.
La chica estadounidense es mi prima.The American girl is my cousin.
El profesor canadiense enseña inglés en el colegio.The Canadian teacher teaches English at school.
Roquetas de Mar es un pueblo almeriense.Roquetas de Mar is a town in Almeria.
El guilindorro es una comida jienense.Guilindorro is a dish from Jaen.
In Spanish this type of adjective is not capitalised.
Soy Costarricense.
Soy costarricense.
I am Costa Rican.
