The expression in Spanish for "to earn a living" is "ganarse la vida". In English you use "a living", in Spanish you say "la vida".

Sorry, I think there may have been a typo in the English translation saying "earn a living life" - we corrected it. I know now what you mean by needing a correction. Gracias
