Is there a difference between using ´en´ and ´por´?

Is there a difference between using ´en´ and ´por´.

For example ´voy a hacerlo por/en la mañana´?

Hola Ryan

In Spain (it's different in Latin America), to express a part of the day as in "in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, at night" we use "por". You may here it with "en" occasionally in certain local areas in Spain but it is not what it generally used.
