Using double pronouns with El Imperativo

1. Ese dibujo parece bueno. Enséñamelo, por favor.

2. Ese dibujo parece bueno. Me lo enseñas, por favor.

What is the difference between these two options?  Why is the second one incorrect? To me they both sound acceptable.  Thanks

Hola Lynda

The quiz is asking for the right sentence for  "That drawing looks good. Show it to me, please."

The imperative required for this bit: show it to me would be "enséñamelo" which is the imperative of enseñar with the two pronouns attached to the verb and in that order: me+lo

The sentence using "Me lo enseñas, por favor" is not showing how we use the imperative. Maybe if we use it as a question: ¿Me lo enseñas, por favor? -this could be seen as a polite request, but not as an imperative which is what the English is showing: "show it to me".

I hope this clarified it.

Saludos

Inma
