Elena: -Lucía, I need to tell you something very important.
Lucía: -Of course! You look different today. I was wondering what was going on.
Elena: -I've been feeling very tired for some time, but I didn't know why. And then I did a test yesterday and found out that I am pregnant!
Lucía: -My goodness! I'm so happy for you! I had suspected something!
Elena: -My husband and I are overjoyed. We had been hoping for this for a long time.
Lucía: -Have you told your parents yet? They are going to be very excited!
Elena: -Not yet. I wanted you to be the first to know.
Lucía: -I'm very touched! When is the expected due date?
Elena: -The doctor said it would be in early spring, around the end of March.
Lucía: -That's wonderful! I hope everything goes smoothly for you both.
Elena: -Thank you! If we have a girl, we would love to name her after my grandmother.
Lucía: -What a lovely idea! Your grandmother would have been so proud.
Elena: -I am also thinking of asking that you to be the godmother, if you would accept.
Lucía: -Seriously? I would be absolutely delighted! You have made me the happiest person in the world!
Promise me you will share every update with me. I want to be there for you.
