Francisco Salzillo was a celebrated Spanish Baroque sculptor who lived and worked in the 18th century. He was prolific and only made religious sculptures, many of which are still to be found in his native Murcia. His masterpieces include his Nativity scene and many processional works.

This reading and listening exercise can help you practise regular and irregular verbs in the Spanish preterite, the position of direct object pronouns and feminine nouns.
