Spanish online reading and listening practice - level C1
Pablo Ruiz Picasso is probably Spain's best-known artist and 2023 is the 50th anniversary of his death. To celebrate there are many events planned around the world but in particular in Spain and in France, where he spent many years of his life. To participate in this special moment, we look more closely at one of his most emblematic and political works, the massive painting of Guernica.
This reading and listening exercise can help you practise forming the passive voice with ser + participle, using the present to narrate past events and using the gerund to say "by doing something".
