Feeling Hispanic through celebrations

Celebrations! Who doesn’t like to celebrate, eh? 🎉 Spain and Latin America certainly aren’t short of them! This week I’ve lined up some fun activities to get into Hispanic culture through some of its most festive traditions. You’ll find a bilingual reading and listening activity on an important date for the Hispanic world: El 12 de octubre, along with a fill-in-the-gaps exercise about La fiesta del Pilar in Zaragoza, Spain, also celebrated on the same day. There’s also an article on Patron Saint festivities across Spain and Latin America, giving you a taste of how communities come together to honor their traditions.

Let’s go celebrate!
