Miguel Delibes Setién was initially associated with the Generation of ’36, later becoming a leading literary figure in post-Spanish Civil War literature. As well as being a famous author, he was a journalist and newspaper editor. He was passionate about the countryside, in particular that of his native Castile, and nature is a featured theme in his writing. Discover more about his life with this bilingual article.
