This song is actually a Spanish adaptation of a French song origially called Tenez vous bien. The Spanish song Mi gran noche was made famous when it appeared in the 1968 film Digan lo que digan starring the Spanish singer and actor Raphael, this is the version you can see in the video below. Raphael is still active today, one of his most recent appearances was for the concert to raise funds for those impacted by the 2021 volcanic eruption in La Palma.
