Every year on 15 May is the feast day of San Isidro, patron saint of Madrid. This song is a chotis, traditionally played and danced to during the festivities which take place outdoors. The word chotis is a derivation of the German word Schottische meaning Scottish.

This reading and listening exercise can help you practise the verb ser, exclamatives and relatives.
