Spanish online reading and listening practice – level B2

Jorge Drexler is an Uruguayan musician, actor and, get this, doctor. Despite his interest in music, he followed in his parents’ footsteps by studying medicine and he is a qualified ENT specialist. He’s also the first Uruguayan to win an Academy Award, he gained an Oscar for composing the song Al otro lado del río for the film The Motorcycle Diaries (itself based on the memoir of the same name by Che Guevara). I think we can all agree he’s extremely accomplished!

This reading and listening exercise can help you practise relative clauses using the infinitive and seguir + present participle.
