Starting this year, we will review our Premium subscription prices once a year, every September, using a consistent and transparent process. Here’s what that means and how it works.
Why we’re doing this
Costs change a little every year, and so does the value we’re adding to KwizIQ: new features, new content, and the tools behind the scenes that keep everything running smoothly. Rather than letting all of that build up and address it in one go every so often, we’d rather keep things small, steady, and easy to anticipate.
So from now on, every September, we’ll review our prices using a consistent, transparent process and make a small adjustment if one is warranted.
How the review works
Each year, we calculate what we call the KwizIQ Inflation Rate: a weighted average of official inflation data (from the OECD and national statistics offices) across the countries where our subscribers are from, weighted by how many subscribers are in each country. This gives us an objective, inflation-based starting point.
From there, we look at three more factors: what we’ve shipped, the market, and our business to define if any of them justify moving above or below that KwizIQ Inflation Rate baseline.
What this means for new prices
Any approved increase applies only to new subscriptions (or subscribers whose previous subscription lapsed and who are purchasing again).
It does not apply to existing Premium subscribers who keep their subscription active without interruption. These are protected by our Loyalty Pricing Promise.
Our Loyalty Pricing Promise
If you’re a Premium subscriber today, or you become one before a price change takes effect, the price you’re paying is yours to keep for as long as your subscription stays active without a gap. We’re not going to raise your price later just because the review found a new number. If your subscription is active, your price won’t change.
If you cancel your subscription or if it lapses for any reason and you wish to purchase a Premium subscription again, you’ll rejoin at the current price, the same as any new subscriber.
Full details can be found in our Pricing FAQ.
What’s changing this year?
Our first Annual Pricing Review takes effect September 15, 2026. New prices will be visible on our pricing page from that date and apply to new and returning subscribers from then on.
If you’re already an active Premium subscriber, this doesn’t change anything for you.
