Verbs ending in -zar change z > c in all forms in El Presente de Subjuntivo (present subjunctive)

Spanish verbs ending in -zar replace the -z with a -c in El Presente de Subjuntivo. This is because in Spanish, after z you can only have the vowels a, o and u.

Here is the conjugation of utilizar (to use) affected by this spelling change: 

yo utilice
utilices
él / ella / Ud. utilice
nosotros utilicemos
vosotros utilicéis
ellos / ellas / Uds.   utilicen
