Conjugate hacer in El Pretérito Indefinido (simple past)

The verb hacer (to do/make) is irregular in El Pretérito Indefinido:

yo

hice

hiciste

él/ella/Ud.

hizo

nosotros

hicimos

vosotros

hicisteis

ellos/ellas/Uds.

hicieron

In the third person singular (él/ella/usted), you need to change the c for a z. This is to keep the [ss] pronunciation, otherwise "hico" would be pronounced [hiko]!
