Exactly. In this sentence: Vosotras metisteis las hojas en el cajón, hojas means sheets of paper. (You put the sheets of paper in the drawer.) Paper as in newspaper would be "periódico".

Two answer choices has the same exact conjugation but you guys marked mine wrong. The answer is comprendieron.
