Why not te gusta bebiendo for do you like drinking , as opposed to te gusta beber,do you like to drimk?

Hola Rosanne

In Spanish the verb gustar is never used followed by a gerund, so the structure is different to the English, as we explain in the lesson.

Me gusta beber (correct)

Me gusta bebiendo (incorrect)
