Why 'muchas'?

Nosotras perdemos el autobús muchas veces.

Just wondering, why is it muchas veces (as opposed to muchos veces - I thought masc. was the default)? Is it to match with nosotras?

Ooo i think I've worked it out - its because vez is feminine?

Yes, "vez" is feminine and not masculine.
