vosotros form accent rule?

why would there be accent on vosotros form sometimes and sometimes not?

This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Some Spanish -iar verbs in the present tense take an accent (liar, enviar, criar)"

This is because the vosotros conjugations for liar and criar: liais/criais, are one single syllable (monosyllabic words), and following the rules for accentuation in Spanish (scroll down until you see the "triphthongs" part), they don't take the accent in this case.
