Using hasta que + subjunctive for future events

Why is the correct answer here hasta que yo vuelva? This looks like something in the future (when they come back), so it should be in the Present Subjunctive "vuele". That wasn't a listed option.
Espera aquí ________. Wait here until I come back.

What am I missing here?
