Te dije que llegases a las tres, no a las tres y media.I told you to arrive at three, not at half three.
I think the translation should be three thirty no half three.

Hola Dawna

Saying half three is the same as half past three or three thirty. It's commonly used in British English. It omits the wrod "past".
