Tal Como/Cuál

Me devolvió el libro tal como se lo presté, en perfectas condiciones. He returned the book to me just as I lent it to him, in perfect condition.
Should this not be singular eg. En perfecta condición as we are talking about a book and your hint suggests singular. I lent it to him in perfect condition.

Hola Jannice

we use it in plural "en perfectas condiciones" 7(we wouldn't say "en perfecta condición) while in English it is usually used in singular "in perfect condition". But it means the same.
