Hola Vincent

In context you will be able to see it better. Say, for example, that you have arranged to meet some friends who you haven't seen for quite a while. Then, when that day comes, you go to meet them but one of them couldn't make it for some reason. After your get together, you come back home and your mum asks you: "How did it go with your friends? and you reply:

Lo pasé muy bien con ellos pero me he quedado con las ganas de ver a Marta. Ella no pudo venir all final porque estaba enferma.

This "me he quedado con las ganas de ver a Marta" would be something like "What a shame I couldn't see Marta/I am annoyed that I couldn't see Marta". So you are left with this frustrating feeling.

As you can see, there isn't a straight forward translation in English, but I hope you get the idea.

Saludos

Inma
