pretérito perfecto = past perfect, no?
ha ha aborrecido is present perfect, no? había aborrecido is past perfect, no?
If not, then I am totally confused with the Qwiziqs . . .
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Conjugate regular -er, -ir verbs in the present perfect tense in Spanish (El Pretérito Perfecto)"
Asked 3 weeks ago

Hola Garry M.
Yes, that’s right:
-
ha aborrecido → Present Perfect (El Pretérito Perfecto in Spanish)
-
había aborrecido → Past Perfect (El Pretérito Pluscuamperfecto in Spanish)
The tricky bit is that in Spanish grammar, pretérito perfecto does not mean “past perfect” — it’s actually the present perfect in English.
