"Para la que" and "para el que" are relative pronouns in Spanish that mean 'for which' or 'for whom'. The choice between "la" and "el" depends on the gender of the noun they refer to. "Para la que" is used for feminine nouns. For example, in the sentence "La asignatura para la que estudiamos es importante" (The subject for which we study is important), "la" is used because "asignatura" (subject) is feminine.
