No words for “With me”

Hola, is “with me” implied? Don't get cocky with me."(HINT: ponerse chulo = to get cocky)
No te me pongas chulo.

I found this on
spanishdictionary.com:
No te pongas chulo conmigo; te conozco desde que eras un bebé.Don't get cocky with me; I've known you since you were a little baby.

Muchas gracias, Shirley.

Hola Shirley

In the sentence using "me" (the dativo), it is implied, meaning "with me" - you don't need to add it. What Spanishdic is giving you is an alternative that is more literal and also correct, but the meaning is the same.

Saludos
