How would you translate: ¡Qué ganas de ver la película!

You will really want to see this movie!
It must be idiomatic...?
Actually, I am mistaken.  The word ganas means desire, not the verb ganar conjugated in the second person.  So it must mean the narrator wanting to see the movie:    ¡Qué ganas de ver la película!  -  I want to see this movie so much!     Or more literally translated:  Such desire to see the film!
And yes, it is idiomatic.
gracias!
Perhaps the most idiomatic translation would be: "I can't wait to see the movie".

Hola Lucy,

Yes, it is idiomatic. I would say the most accurate translation would be "I am so looking forward to seeing the film!" although Alan's and Andrew's translations are very close.

:))

¡Gracias a todos!
