Hi. Would it be wrong to say instead of 'Siempre le habían gustado mucho los delfines' to say, 'Siempre le han gustado mucho los delfines'

My confusion is that when I read 'le habían gustado' I think this was in the past, whereas she still very much likes dolphins and hence is going to have her dream fulfilled tomorrow'. Thanks

Hola Stuart,

the text has been changed to "le han gustado"; using the pluperfect "le habían gustado" would indeed imply a completed action, but what we meant was that she still likes them, therefore "siempre le han gustado".
