Hacia en otros contextos

¿En español se puede usar hacia en el contexto de la actitud de alguien o algo? Por ejemplo en ingles se puede decir "I don't like your attitude towards me" o "We will work towards that". 


¿Se puede decir algo como "no me gusta su actitud hacia yo"?

Matt -

A large dictionary often includes examples of sentences using specific words. In mine, under "hacia" I see:

1. "... su actitud hacia " [but not 'hacia yo']

and

2. "el país avanza hacia la democracia"; also "la fuga de capitales hacia el exterior".

Another useful book is "Diccionario de Uso de las Preposiciones españoles" by Slager and Seco [ESPASA] which actually lists several hundred words which can precede 'hacia'.

As David confirmed, yes, you can use the preposition "hacia" in Spanish to say "towards..." in that context too (talking about someone's attitude towards someone or something).

Bear in mind that although your sentence: "No me gusta su actitud hacia mí" (with , not yo) is correct, you may find this a bit more natural: "No me gusta su actitud conmigo."

Other sentences could be for example:

La actitud de ese chico hacia sus profesores es terrible.

Tiene una actitud muy negativa hace todo lo que le proponemos.
