Can we use for dates?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Using antes de /después de [noun/infinitive] for before/after [something/doing something]"
Asked 3 years ago

Hola Hayley
Yes, you can. For example:
Necesito terminar mi redacción antes del lunes.
I need to finish my essay before Monday.
Después del viernes próximo estaré libre porque habré terminado mis exámenes.
After next Friday I'll be free because I will have finished my exams.
Just remember that you need "de" and "el" and it's contracted: "del". It's easy to forget because you don't need any preposition or article in English.
I hope it helps.
Saludos
