Can diría be daría?

Can dar be translated daría in the conditional? I have another source that says daría. Wondering if that is a Spain Spanish vs. South American Spanish?

Hola Kevina

They are two different verbs. The verb in the lesson is "decir" (to say) and "dar" (to give). I think you are confusing them.

Dar -> daría (conditional)

Decir -> diría (conditional)

Hola Kevina,

diría is the conditional of the verb decir (to say/tell).

daría is the conditional of the verb dar (to give).
