Broncearse vs tomar el sol

I put "y nos bronceamos en tumbonas." Is this wrong?

Hola R,

"broncearse" means to get a tan" while "tomar el sol" means "to sunbathe", so:

Yo tomo el sol para broncearme.

I sunbathe to get a tan.

Saludos,

Inma
