Additional examples that do the same?

Are there other examples besides just these? I have a Spanish dictionary that says that the word "internet" can be either feminine or masculine, with both "la internet" and "el internet" being correct. Could you provide any other words that do the same besides just the few that are provided in the lesson?

Hola Amanda

The reason why we didn't include the word "internet" in this lesson is because the word internet is actually most of the time used without any article in Spanish. You can say el internet or la internet, they are both right, as you said, but it is a lot more common to drop the article:

Tengo que buscar información en internet.

Hoy no tengo acceso a internet.

Usar internet es genial.

We included in our lesson what we considered the most common nouns. There are some more (not that common) words with double gender. You can see a list of them in this page.

I hope it helps.

Inma
