A little motivation please!

Hello, I have just reached 75%+ in the B1 level of Kwiziq.  I have found whilst progressing through A2 courses in the past that it is better for me to reach 75%+ in a level before attempting the written library exercises.

Even though in the lessons I have "completed" B1, I am finding the weekend workouts at this level very difficult.  I specifically joined Kwiziq as I feel that these "now create sentences and paragraphs in Spanish" is a unique feature for online learning, but wow, they are tricky.

Please someone tell me that this is how it was for them, and that eventually it will become more simple!! Lie if you have to!!

I'm not going to give up, this is what I need, but my brain is hurting :-)

Hola Paul

Thanks for letting us know. Is there a particular type of exercise that you find more difficult? or is is general for what we offer at level B1?

Hello Inma,

For me it's all of the exercises, I'm not complaining, as I think Kwiziq is unique in helping us move from "people who know a lot of vocab and grammar rules" to "people who can create sentences and conversations suitable for the real world".
I found the A2 exercises tricky too, but this is my first real attempt to learn a language, even my native language "wasn't taught", we just picked it up by living in England.

In the era that I was in school in the UK, were weren't taught English grammar, so recognising the verb tense in the English to choose the correct one for Spanish will always be a challenge, the good news is that my English has improved through learning Spanish, so if nothing else I have that.

I'm going to keep aiming for an hour a day of study, and will get back to you in a month to see if I have become more competant!

OK, thanks for your feedback. Yes, there is definitely an extra advantage for students who learned their own language at school with a more extensive grammar jargon or that have an extra foreign language as they are more confident with grammar in general. I think you sound very determined and that is for sure another advantage!
