Cusco is a fascinating city. Capital of the Inca Empire, it was an important administrative centre at the time of the Spanish viceroyalty. This city is very old, it is more than 3000 years old, but some historians do not agree with that. In its streets you can see many monuments and colonial architecture, especially the Plaza de Armas founded in 1534. It is a very beautiful city in Peru and that is why many people visit it every year.
