After having lived both in the countryside and in the city, I'm not sure which one is the best option. Although the city is fairly lively and there is a lot to do, in the countryside you live very calmly and the cost of living is lower. The countryside has become a gold mine (in order) to attract new businesses with attractive grants. However, the city offers more opportunities and technology works better than in the countryside. Now I can't bring myself to live in the countryside but I will when I retire without giving it a second thought.
