Weddings reflect both the love between two people and the cultural identity of each society. In India, these events are celebrated with great splendor and can last for several days. The bride usually wears a red or gold sari, accompanied by striking jewelry. During the ceremony, the bride and groom perform traditional rituals such as saptapadi, the seven steps around the fire, whose meaning represents the essential vows that will mark their life together. In Mexico, weddings combine religious tradition with deeply symbolic elements. One of these is the lasso, a cord placed over the shoulders of the bride and groom in the shape of an infinity symbol. This figure represents eternal union and mutual commitment. Finally, in Greek weddings, a highlight is the coronation or stefana, in which crowns joined by a ribbon are placed on the heads of the bride and groom, a gesture symbolizing the sacred bond and shared responsibility in their new home. Weddings around the world are a true celebration of identity and love!
