The full moon was beginning to turn everything silver. As we moved forward, the icy wind caressed our skin. The rustling of dry leaves was constantly accompanying us. However, the trees seemed to want to enclose us in their embrace. Suddenly, an owl began to hoot in the distance. As we continued walking, the breeze brushed our faces. Suddenly, a green flash paralyzed us. We looked at each other in silence, but something impelled us to continue. The fireflies, like little guides, traced paths between the trunks. Finally, we reached a clearing bathed in a soft light. There, an ancient fountain flowed with crystal-clear, serene water. Its almost hypnotic murmur seemed to tell us ancient legends. When we touched the water, we felt a vibrant energy run through our bodies. Although we were amazed, a strange uneasiness invaded us. So we decided to walk away, even though it was hard to turn around. When we left, we knew that the forest would always keep its mystery.
