Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman in orbit. Her trip in 1963 changed space history, paving the way for future astronauts. Decades later, Ellen Ochoa broke another barrier, becoming the first Hispanic astronaut. Thanks to her work, new paths were opened at NASA. In 2022, Katya Echazarreta fulfilled her dream, becoming the first Mexican woman in space. Her mission inspired many young Latinas, showing that dreams can come true. Meanwhile, Sara García was preparing in Europe, where she was chosen to train as an astronaut. All of them defied barriers and prejudices, and their courage transformed the history of space exploration. Today, more women follow in their footsteps, because space no longer has limits for them.

Getting that for you now...
