The Basajaun is a magical being from the Basque Country. He lives in the forest, near the animals. He has a lot of hair and is very big. He takes care of the sheep and the shepherds. He also protects the trees in the forest. Sometimes he shouts when there is danger. Also, he helps people with their crops. The shepherds respect him a lot and he gets very angry when someone harms the forest. That's why people take care of nature. Finally, his story is very famous in the Basque Country.
