The Southern Ice Field is a very large area of ice and glaciers in southern Chile and Argentina. It's a natural freezer in the mountains! You can see huge pieces of ice that melt and form lakes and rivers. Some glaciers here are very famous, for example, the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. It's also a great place to go hiking and enjoy nature.
