Look, right now I'm penniless, without knowing what to do in the middle of hard January. I have spent all of this month's salary, even though I was paid only a week ago. The truth is that I have been very generous with gifts, without looking too much at the prices, as if there were no tomorrow. I have let myself get carried away by my heart and also by the famous Christmas spirit, and now look at how I am depressed without knowing how I am going to deal with the expenses this month. Maybe they can give me an advance at my work but I'm quite ashamed to ask my boss. I don't want him to think that I'm a spendthrift, it only happened to me this time and I promise it will be the last.
