¿Cómo lo dicen en América del Sur, donde mayo es el último mes de otoño? ¿Reconocerían el dicho?

Hola R,

I am not aware of any equivalent in Latin America for this Spanish saying. I asked around (Colombian, Cuban and Mexican friends) but they couldn't think of anything I am afraid.
