It's nearly Halloween and time to get into the mood with this love song about having a zombie boyfriend! The new wave band Alaska y Dinarama was formed in the early 80s and features emblematic singer Alaska, a key figure of the movida madrileña. Alaska (born María Olvido Gara Jova), continues to be active as a solo artist and with the band Fangoria with long-standing collaborator Nacho Canut. The song Mi novio es un zombi was released in 1989. This reading and listening exercise can help you practise the Spanish Preterite, using hacer with the subjunctive/infinitive = to make [someone] do something and prepositions followed by infinitives.
