Rafael Nadal, known globally as Rafa Nadal, is a Spanish professional tennis player from the Balearic Island of Mallorca. Frequently ranked number one, to date he has won 20 men’s singles Grand Slam titles. As well as playing tennis, he has a tennis academy in his hometown of Manacor and is well-known and well-regarded for his philanthropic work with many different charities as well as the foundation that bears his name.
