Why incorporate Latin-American usage when the object is to learn conventional Spanish?

Hola Gerald

There are lots of users who have a special interest in knowing the specific usages of the Spanish language in the Latin American countries. Generally, Spanish grammar doesn't vary a lot, but there are some differences that we like to highlight with more focused lessons. Also, our exercises are focused on both Peninsular Spanish and Latin American Spanish so students can see and enjoy both.

Un saludo cordial

Personally I want to learn as much about Spanish as possible

The user chooses which Spanish to learn focus on.  I chose Latin American- I do not want to exclusively learn Peninsular Spanish because it is less useful to me in the US.

Why incorporate Latin-American usage when the object is to learn conventional Spanish?
