Verb Tense

Is there a reason that the verb tense is "buscaria" "reduciria" instead of "busca" "reduce" etc.?

Hola Charlotte

On those specific sentences, the narrator is "suggesting" what you should do. For this you can use the conditional as in saying "I would do this, I would do that..."; this is why it's saying:

buscaría... (I'd look for...)

reduciría...(I'd reduce...)

I hope this clarified it.

Saludos
