Una marca española

Hola,

I was marked correct for putting "una marca español" when in fact it is an exception to the rule for adjectives ending in "L" per the lesson, and should be española.

Is it in fact optional?

Hola John

I check in the system and we haven't given any possible correct answer using "español". Español needs to agree with "marca", either "marca española de cacao" or "marca de cacao española". In both cases the adjective is always referring to "marca" not "cacao".

Saludos

John,

When you take the exercise, you get corrected. When you wrote your sentence with "español" it should show you a blue "a" to show you the correct word.

Thanks Inma.

I don't recall seeing the blue "a" but perhaps I missed it. Your additional comment is understood, thanks. John
