TRANSLATION OF WORDS

I can do the dictation but there are words I don't know the meaning of even if I can write them correctly. In the French version of the course - if you hover the cursor over the word it gives the translation.  Without that I have to go to google translate to get the meaning.  I find this annoying!   Surely the vocabulary should be  available, or the translation without having to find a dictionary or use google translate!?

Hola Caroline,

I’m not quite sure which feature you’re referring to when you say that you can “hover the cursor over the word and it gives the translation.” We don’t currently have this feature in either French or Spanish. You may be thinking of our bilingual texts, where you can see the translation of the text as you hover the cursor over the sentences.

For French and Spanish dictations, we offer a “vocabulary search suggestion” just before you start the exercise. This gives you the option to look up some of the words used in the dictation and become more familiar with the vocabulary before you begin.

I hope that helps clarify the difference.

Saludos cordiales

Inma
