sin que se dé cuenta

Hola Inma,

I'm wondering if sin que se (lo) enterara is also valid in this case.

Saludos

Hola Ελισάβετ

That would also be correct but without "lo". "Enterarse" doesn't admit a direct object. Sometimes we use the verb with "de algo": enterarse de algo/darse cuenta de algo

For example:

María no se enteró de que/no se dio cuenta de que la excursión se había cancelado.

María didn't notice/didn't realise that the excursion had been cancelled.

(I added the answer using enterarse as also correct to the challenge)
